2021 Training Session of Detergent Basic Knowledge and Formula Technology was held in Guangzhou and Zhuhai, Guangdong province between July 26th and 31st, 2021. China Research Institute of Daily Chemical Industry teamed up with Institute of Green Daily Necessities Innovation, Guangdong University of Technology to hold this training, which was organized by China Information Center of Daily Chemical Industry and especially endorsed by Guangdong VTR Bio-Tech Co., Ltd. In total, 35 delegates applied and joined the training session and they came from 28 detergent and related industry organizations nationwide.
The training takes the form of teaching in classroom, laboratory operation and visit to companies. The teaching parts inside classrooms involve the hot topics of Chinese detergent industry, lectures on detergent development skill, the introduction of China’s surfactant detergent standard system, basics of detergent (formula principle, formula example, detergent additives and performance evaluation, etc) as well as the production process and common equipment of liquid detergent. Training of laboratory operations includes: detergency measurement of cloth materials detergent, measurement of foaming power of detergent, measurement of total active substance content in detergent, measurement of anionic active substance content of surfactant and detergency measurement of cutlery detergent. Many experts attended this training as lecturers such as Wang Wanxu, President of China Chemistry Industrial Association, Professor Zhao Jianhong with Guangdong University of Technology and Du Zhiping, Chief Expert of Key Laboratory of China Research Institute of Daily Chemical Industry. During the session, all participants were invited to visit the exhibition hall and laboratory of Guangdong VTR Bio-Tech Co., Ltd. and exchanged views on businesses with relevant personnel.

As an integral part of the training, each and every participant paid a visit to the “2021 China Development Conference of Washing Products with New Dosage Form” convened in Guangzhou. They listened to the theme report and invited report by Chinese experts and scholars in the field of new-type detergent products. By the end of the training, 28 participants succeeded in obtaining the “certificate of formula engineer qualification” issued by China Research Institute of Daily Chemical Industry following test, evaluation and review.

The training has been held for eight times since 2012 and absorbed over 390 practitioners in daily chemical industry from 32 provinces and cities all over China. The trainees include not only practitioners of large and medium-sized daily chemical enterprises at home and abroad, managers of many small and medium-sized domestic enterprises, as well as newcomers to such sector. As a matter of fact, it has gradually grown into a professional training with great reputation and cognition in the daily chemical industry.
