ICSD is an international conference involved in surfactant and detergent research, development, application and commerce which happened biennially. Inaugurated in 1990, ICSD has become an important channel for colleagues to discuss the latest products and technologies, exchange ideas, and discover innovative applications for new and emerging ingredients. The event has gained a reputation for providing up-to-date information on science, technology and commerce, and supported by many famous corporations from home and abroad. This high level conference has become a symbol event reflecting current status of research and development of surfactant and detergent. 2008 International Conference on Surfactant & Detergent will be the tenth of ICSD, the sponsors tend to make it being a brand meeting in surfactant and detergent industry, and try to seek innovation both in matter and in form, in order to fit for the rapid development demand of global surfactant and detergent industry.

Papers are hereby solicited in following topics (included but not limited to).
1 R&D of functional and green surfactants
2 Application of surfactants in personal care products
3 Application and market of surfactants in various industries
4 Formulation and formulate technology in washing products

Instructions for the submission
Papers must be original and not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Submissions will be judged on correctness, originality, technical strength, and significance, quality of presentation, and interest and relevance to the conference attendees. Submissions must be full papers within 6000 words, Submission should include paper title, author names, affiliations, addresses, fax and phone numbers, and email addresses. Please indicate clearly the corresponding author. The first author must clearly explain the contribution of the work in terms of its theoretical and/or practical value and relationship to previous work, and birth date, sex, Nationality and position must be included also.
Submissions of papers or extended abstracts (in both Chinese and English) should be sent before March 31, 2008, and full length manuscripts should be sent before June 30, 2008. Full papers should contain an abstract, a list of keywords, and a list of references; extended abstract should contain a list of keywords. Submissions should be sent as an email attachment to icsd2008@163.com. Submissions should be formatted with your personal contact details.
Poster Show
The conference will include a special Poster session for the papers which are not invited to present orally.
